GO:OD AM is the third studio by Mac Miller and was released by Warner Brothers on September 18, 2015.  There are guest appearances by Chief Keef, Ab Soul, Lil B, Miguel, and Little Dragon.  A tour has been planned and will kick off in Mac’s hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on September 20, 2015.

The album’s background started with Mac releasing his mixtape “Faces” and signing with Warner Brothers, after leaving Rostrum Records.  The distribution deal helped Mac’s label REMember Music jump off.  On July 30, 2015 he announced he was finishing up his album.  On August 5, 2015 he released a lead off single, 100 Grandkids with a music video.

On September 4, 2015 an app was released that functions as an alarm and played snippets of the album.  There was also a Breakfast Special Edition of the album released, which is the LP on CD and digital download, cereal, a cereal bowl, and a hidden gift.  Mac also hosted events called Homecoming Weekend leading up to the release to promote the album.  An album release show was planned and done, and the tour kicking off in Pittsburgh at the aforementioned date of September 20, 2015.

Drake & Future – What A Time To Be Alive #Mixtape #ovo #futurehive #freebandz

Drake & Future - What A Time To Be Alive Cover Front

Drake & Future What A Time To Be Alive Back Cover & Tracklist

“Drake & Future – What A Time To Be Alive” mixtape has arrived and is available for stream on Guapovida.

The mixtape album came into fruition after rumors and memes arrived on the internet, speaking of a collabo, then Drake confirming the project on social media.

The album dropped today September 20, 2015.

The mixtape is full of chops of the trap r&b rap type, electronic and Future’s oddball autotune crooning and Drake’s singing and his rapping.

The mixtape is streamed on Apple Radio or you can cop it off the net to listen to personally.

Drake, is a Toronto (the 6th, Tdot) born Canadian, who started out as an actor on a remake of Degrassi, a posthumous remake of the classic series.  He dropped mixtapes occasionally, and came into fruition after working with Trey Songs on the song “Replacement Girl” and then dropping the song “Best I Ever Had” with a hugely successful mixtape.  Since then he has become a very popular rapper and singer, dropping hip pop music, and becoming the subject of many humorous memes and videos, of which he has taken with a good sense of humor and a laugh.  He works with his crew, OVO, and is a proud of his hometown which he calls the 6, of which is Toronto Ontario Canada.

Future, is a trap singer from Kirkwood, Atlanta, Georgia in the US.  He dropped a bunch of mixtapes from 2010 to 2011 before being signed to Epic Records and launching his own label FreeBandz.  Since then, he has released drug induced boasting and trapping music, with his signature strange flow and autotune crooning.  He got his name from the famous Dungeon Family who called him the Future, likely due to his electronic robotic sound.  He grew in popularity and has had a lot of people imitate his style and sound.  He is also subject to criticism by hip hop’s roots movement.
