Raheem DeVaughn – Trigga Man feat Styles P aka Pinero The Ghost
Raheem DeVaughn teams up with Styles P to release “Trigga Man”, which is dedicated to all the lives lost due to ignorance, irresponsible, prejudice, and senseless violence. The song was created out of influence from his points of view from the Trayvon Martin case and he uses it to paint a picture for all victims. It features Obama and also a news reporter reporting on the Jordan Davis case. Here is my opinion on the whole issue of Trayvon Martin and the legal system in Florida.
1) No matter how you feel what went down, what happened did not have to happen. Please do not use the case as a platform for your ignorance and prejudice and your vile nonsense. At the end of the day, a kid died and there’s no reason for you to act the way you act, if you are being vile and ignorant. Before you think about how you get treated in life, think about how you treat others and your treatment of others will come back ten fold in the same manner.
2) Trayvon Martin was not a thug. He did not even dress like a thug or look like a thug. Not everyone that is black is a thug. Even if you feel he was a thug, even a thug does not deserve to be stalked and killed.
3) The whole media tried to make it about how the shooter George Zimmerman felt. How about the victim Trayvon Martin? George Zimmerman is not a police officer, and he is an unidentified stranger. There was no need to stalk the boy as the boy was simply walking home with Skittles and Ice Tea. Anyone being followed by a stranger in the dark will feel apprehensive and fear for their safety. There was never any talk of the victim’s rights or his right to stand his ground in self defense. George should have left it for real police officers because at least if cops follow Trayvon in the darkness, the officers would identify themselves as officers, and Trayvon would not be fearful of police because they are identified members of our society. George Zimmerman never identified himself.
4) I honestly do not know why people are afraid to say it, but, George Zimmerman stalked and profiled Trayvon, because he was black. It’s obvious to normal people he feels all blacks are a threat to the community and they always get away. How ironic that George Zimmerman got away.
5) All the witnesses place the confrontation 40 to 60 feet south of the T. This means Zimmerman was lying about being attacked at the T while walking back to his truck.
6) There’s no DNA from George Zimmerman on Trayvon’s hands, arms, sleeves, or cuffs of his clothing, so I call BS on George Zimmerman’s claim that Trayvon attacked him. To repeatedly hit someone, and grab their bald head and smash it, blood would splattering everywhere onto the hands, arms, sleeves, and cuffs of Trayvon. There was none of this found, therefore, I do not believe he attacked the shooter at all. I at most will give up he may have hit the defendant once.
7) George Zimmerman was the one with flashlights, a car, and a gun. Considering this, it is obvious whom was on the lookout and chase of whom, considering he had all the tools necessary.
8) A couple witnesses said they saw and heard a chase that started south and headed north, till about 40 to 60 feet south of the T. His friend Rachel also stated she heard Trayvon drop his phone, and his phone was found 40 to 60 feet south of the T.
9) I believe Zimmerman confronted Trayvon and tackled him to the ground and then pulled his gun out. Trayvon needed to defend himself so he tried to wrestle Zimmerman and keep the gun away from himself.
10) Eventually Zimmerman got top position and he had the boy mounted. A witness saw this and she states she heard the boy scream for help. She also witnessed Trayvon yelp and Zimmerman had the boy pinned with his gun out. She witnesses Zimmerman shoot the boy, while he is on top of the boy. The screams suddenly stop.
11) The witness, Surdyka aka witness 18, says after shooting the boy while pinning the boy to the ground, Zimmerman stood up, walked around, and was fiddling with his head. EMT found blood all over Zimmerman’s hands and I believe the witness saw the shooter staging injuries for his self defense claim.
12) I believe Zimmerman tampered with the jury because it was an idiotic decision, the jury instructions were incredibly biased against the victim in this case, and the prosecutors really sucked bad. The state prosecutors hardly objected, had the evidence, did not bother tying all the evidence together into a theory of the crime because it does paint a picture, did not rebut at all, and did not bother going in on the character evidence door being opened by Zimmerman’s lawyers. They should have fought harder for the victim’s rights and did a better job at jury selection because it was incredibly biased against the victim.
13) No matter what you believe, this whole incident would not have happened, if not for Zimmerman’s assumptions and hostility towards black people, and he should have let professionals do their job. Considering how the cops acted in that city, I would not call them professional anyways. He should have stayed in his car and went to Target. Now a kid’s life is gone, and Zimmerman’s life will have him being followed and harassed for the rest of his life, he is probably going to get sued, and there are feds after him. I also hear he is getting death threats.
14) No one wants to go to prison, so I can understand why his defense lawyers acted the way they acted and Zimmerman repeatedly lied. I’d do the same in his position, however, I’d never be in his position because I would not be stalking unarmed minors with a gun and have better things to do with my life than that. I’d at most call the police and that’s it. But I probably would not be suspicious of Trayvon because I live in a multicultural neighborhood and I see black people everyday as well as many other types of people.
